The food was incredible
I have been ordering from Miso for years. Mostly take-out. But it is utilitarian. Consistent, good quality food and timely delivery. If you're looking for an experience, this is not your place. If you want good sushi as part of your ongoing doing meal options, Miso is right there.
Fresh food, adequate service, considering that we got in just prior to their lunch break.Miso soup when the temp outside is 3 and it’s raining out.
The quality of the good is very very good. The prepare everything in front of you, and the beer selection is wide.
Nice staff, and good sushi (and other food). Pickup and delivery is usually quick.
Good service, yummy sushi
Great cozy place to relax and enjoy good variety of Sushi, Sasimi and small Japanese dishes.
Sushi well-prepared with fresh high-quality fish. Other Japanese food options as well Super- potent wasabi will clear your sinuses. Tasty green tea. Friendly service and reasonable prices.
Its was a great suprise. We walked through the Brooklyn bridge, and wated to eate Sushi. We found this place. The restaurant is not fancy, so we liked it. The food was good. Almost the best of my makis ever. Try it if you come around.
AH MA ZING. My wife and I were stroling around the dumbo region and ran into this shop. We were craving noodles. We walked in told them what we wanted and they made it special. It wasn't on the menu. Great service awesome food
Awesome. Awesome Volcano roll, Samurai roll, Salmon avocado roll (sushis) and (less) spicey seafood soup! First time and best experience. Recommended 😊💖
Really cold sushi. Pad thai noodles was too saucy. Large hot sake just filled 4 cups. Hope you are lucky if you visit here and get out healthy.
Great sushi and good service
Excellent lil local place delicious and clean and their prices are reasonable
Awful service. Waited over 20 minutes for an undercooked Salmon Teriyaki and the waitress didn’t seem to care. Don’t recommend!
Hot entrees were ok. Pretty standard sushi rolls
Good eats it's a new joint for me to eat at.😉🍲🍣
Pretty standard sushi / Japanese food spot. Small menu, for non-sushi items, but decent selection of sushi rolls. The staff was also very pleasant. It’s a very low-key and non-pretentious spot nestled in the middle of DUMBO.
The sushi was good for the price.
The place looks ugly, as first.I walked in and wanted to get a takeout. The waitress/hostess was wearung rubber flip flops...??I was called to the back of the seating area where she was filling to-go sauce cups, took my order there. I was forced to take 2 rolls instead of one because I didn't have cash and their CC minimum is $10. Everything is overpriced. Regular roll is $5-$8, when in fancier places it is $3.50, the food is not out of this world at all.Wouldn't go there again for sure and advise you not to.
Great place to recover after a long walk. Sushi was great and prices were fine given the location.
Miso is a traditional Japanese sushi eatery, the restaurant is small and there's a zen vibe with soft relaxing music. The wait staff is very friendly and courteous, they offer a range of sushi, noodles, appetizers and desserts all of which are delicious the prices are very affordable with decent portions. This place is great for dates or a lunch with friends is very casual but the option is there if you want to dress up for the evening. Overall a great place out of the way and not so crowded. I really like the humble esthetic this place gives off definitely reccomend.
The lunch specials at Miso Sushi are a good deal- 2 rolls and a soup/salad for $8. This is the same price for a roll made by the bodegas and market delis. Wouldn't you rather get more and a side from a Japanese restaurant? Ask for your rolls to be hand rolls. They stuff them silly. More innards than what's in a regular roll.
Good good however my appetizer came after we actually got the check. It was my first time there so this could have been a one time thing. Other than that it was very good!
Well I won't recommend this place to anyone because the quantity is less which comes in big plate and highly charged and taste I ll say it's kinda 50 50.
The sushi won't make you sick. And that's the only selling point. The food is mediocre. You'd be lucky if the service was mediocre too. I've been here a few times for lunch- there's always a problem.Poorly wrapped rolls-- 2 roll lunch specials that take 40 minutes to make-- sometimes the wasabi has a brown hue to it-- or like today, when my order was just plain wrong. But after already waiting most of the time i had for lunch-- i couldn't afford to wait for them to correct it.Probably wouldn't be so annoying if they didn't also charge DUMBO prices for Jersey quality sushi. If this place wasn't the Only sushi joint in DUMBO- they'd have gone out of business a long time ago.Make your order to go-- and if you're getting delivery, order from somewhere else.
Great neighborhood sushi spot.
Ramen was great. Been there only once, but I would definitely go again.
Good sushi rolls and other options. Prices are excellent. Service is poor and so is the atmosphere.
Very good and great price. Nice people
A good sushi spot for lunch. Nothing extraordinary but it could absolutely be a staple lunch spot.
Place is really nice. Really liked it. SPECIAL COMBO Shrimp tempura, spicy salmon and eel avocado $18 3rolls+soup or salad. Fried calamarie $9. Enjoy!!!
Awesome place! Really nice people and lovely food to a very convenient price! Love it! Is awesome after walking trough the Brooklyn bridge! Absolutely recommended!!
Great lunch specials for sushi! Hope this helps!
Great place, great prices for the area it's located in. Alittle cramped but overall the food is good.
Good lunch specials. Quick service
Didn't let my pregnant wife to the bathroom! My wife asked to use the bathroom as a non customer. They didn't let her go even she's pregnant and clearly mentioned this!
This restaurant is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. when I feel like having a fair lunchon, this restaurant comes straight to my head. extremely good and food and a large list of dishes.helpful staff, and pleasant ambience. Also important, the pay is fair. I sent my friends to this spot with great pleasure.
The passion roll on the menu is to die for. Food was really good over all. Only downside I experienced was the carrots in my salmon teriyaki were a little over cooked and the salmon was a little dry. Service is amazing and friendly. Would reccomend and visit again.
We got the sweet potato tempura roll which was great, salmon and jalapeño which was pretty good and the tuna which was also good. We sat at the bar and service was fast, though they weren't too crowded. Overall, for the price and quality this place is a solid 4 stars. Would totally come back.
Their temptation roll is fabulous!
Great lunch specials that are reasonably priced for the neighborhood. Big fan of the Pork Katsu Don special. Friendly service. Not too many tables - but I have never had to wait.
The food and the service was great, but please don't forget to tip your waitress
Really great place the food was delicous! The pricing was reasonable too. Would definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some sushi or Japanese food
Food was good and service was fast and friendly
Great taste
This place is fine for some fast sushi at lunch. But don't disappoint your dinner date with this D-list Dumbo diner, the food here is aggressively mediocre. 3 STARS
Miso is a treasure in Dumbo. While they thankfully deliver, eating in the restaurant itself is a special delight as the sushi is extremely fresh and well prepared.
They usually pretty good until I found a hair in my food. Can go there no more.
Great food great customer service and outstanding environment!
